Apple Class (Year 2)

Welcome to Apple Class! Our teacher is Miss Deane.

Get to know Miss Deane

Hobbies? In my spare time, I enjoy dancing. I have danced in many different venues as an adult and perform in shows at least once a year. I also enjoy crafting, reading and crocheting.

Favourite food? Chocolate and anything sweet. I also particularly enjoy pizza and pasta.

Pets? I currently own cats, dogs and a corn snake. However, I have owned a plethora of different pets over the years including ferrets, hedgehogs, tortoises, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs and many more!

Favourite colour: I particularly like blue. However, I'm a fan of anything bright.

Fun Fact: I appeared as a dancer in the 2012 Paralympic Closing Ceremony in London.

Class Information

Our PE day is a Monday. Please ensure your child comes to school wearing their school PE kit on this day, with all jewellery removed.
Daily reading and/or Phonics homework is compulsory for all children. Please ensure your child's reading record is signed to inform the class teacher that your child has been heard to read at home on a daily basis.
Weekly Maths homework is also set on MyMaths. This is set on a Friday and due the following Friday.
